Livity Productions is governed by an independent board of four directors committed to Technical Equity, fiscal accountability, and intergenerational rhythm in Toronto's music community.
Anthony Fairman is the founding force behind Livity Productions — a builder who understands that systemic change begins at the street level. With a career rooted in community leadership and a deep belief in music as a catalyst for equity, Anthony set out to create the infrastructure that minority artists in Canada deserve but rarely receive. He chairs the board with the conviction that every voice has commercial and cultural value, and that the role of a non-profit is not to offer charity, but to engineer access. Under his stewardship, Livity operates as a social enterprise: bold, accountable, and unapologetically artist-first.
Petar Hristovski is a builder in every sense of the word — from the drum kit to the balance sheet. With 15 years of experience spanning live performance, studio production, sound engineering, and event design, Petar brings a practitioner's precision to Livity's financial governance. As Steward of Assets, he ensures that every grant dollar and donor contribution is deployed with the same intentionality that goes into crafting a great live show: nothing wasted, everything purposeful. A drummer and live sound specialist by trade, Petar understands the infrastructure that artists need — not in theory, but from the stage. His dual fluency in creative production and fiscal discipline makes him a rare asset to any non-profit board. At Livity, he is the person who makes sure the vision stays solvent, the community stays resourced, and the next cohort of artists never has to choose between their craft and their livelihood.
Classically trained keyboardist with nearly 30 years of experience across the Caribbean, Toronto, and Ottawa. Since 2003, Steven has worked as a studio and session musician — serving as band leader, musical director, recording engineer, and arranger across jazz, soul, funk, reggae, and contemporary fusion. Currently Production Director and Sound Engineer at his Ottawa church, he brings deep technical discipline and intergenerational rhythm to Livity's governance. As Digital Architect, Steven shapes the technological infrastructure that powers Livity's platforms, ensuring that the tools artists use are as sophisticated as the music they create. His guiding principle: "Less is more — embrace the space in music."
Derrick Fairman is the institutional memory of Livity Productions — the director who ensures that every commitment made to artists, funders, and the community is documented, honoured, and traceable. As Guardian of the Record, he maintains the governance framework that gives Livity its credibility with grant bodies, regulatory agencies, and strategic partners. Derrick's work is rooted in the understanding that accountability is not a burden but a rhythm: when the paperwork is right, the music can flow freely. His attention to compliance and policy detail protects the organisation's mandate and keeps every artist-centred promise on the record. [Bio to be updated with personal details.]
